Heated RV Sewer Hose Sleeve, 15ft to 20ft

While camping in northern Alabama, the temp unexpectedly plunged from 60 down to 12 degrees one night. That taught me you never know when or where you'll need a heated line. My wife thought I was crazy for buying a heated water hose, but I knew someday we'd be glad we had it... I told her so, haha! I didn't have a heated sewer hose before this, and while I haven't used it in the exact environment you'd need it most, it definitely works and I'm confident it will prevent the hose from getting damaged by ice. Works great.

I installed this on the pipes under the RV to keep the valves and lines from freezing. I don't have any skirting and so far nothing has frozen, even with temps dropping below freezing here in Washington state.

The temperature dropped down to about 8 degrees Fahrenheit and my sewer drained just fine. It seems to be working great.

This cover is incredibly well made. The material is way thicker than I expected. It feels like it's going to last a very long time. Since my RV sewer hose wasn't here to wrap when this arrived and I was at home, I decided to try it on a gutter downspout. That downspout was a solid block of ice causing an ice dam on the roof. I was pleasantly surprised and happy to report it worked amazingly well to thaw out the gutter. I didn't watch it closely, so I'm not sure how long the whole downspout took to thaw, but a week later it was still warm and doing its job. Great bang for the buck, and I highly recommend it. For folks like me who aren't camping full time, the dual use potential is a real bonus.

This heating pad is advertised as an RV sewer line heater, but it works anywhere you need heat to prevent lines from freezing. Just wrap it on your well pipe or any other pipes that need protection and the problem is solved. For locations with freeze prone pipes, this heat blanket protects down to -20 degrees Fahrenheit. A really versatile heating pad that will come in handy during cold winters.

While a bunch of our neighbors had frozen pipes, ours kept flowing like a champ. Even during that last storm with the actual temps we got, it performed great. So far I'm really happy with it.

My lines didn't freeze up this winter, so it worked great. You will need an outdoor extension cord to run it. Something to keep in mind if you have two gray lines.

If you're full time RVing or doing winter camping, this is an absolute must have. I ordered it a little longer so it could wrap around the pipe a bit too. Stays warm with no issues. The install only took about 10 minutes.

We took our RV to Rocky Mountain National Park over Thanksgiving and it was only 11 degrees out. The sleeve worked exactly as expected and kept our rig completely operational.

I bought two of these to cover the entire length of our sewer hose. Both worked better than expected through a Wisconsin winter. I've set them up, packed them away, and reused them with zero issues. Great purchase, would definitely recommend.

This thing is so useful. It's large enough to wrap around my sewer drain pipe whenever the temps drop. It got cold enough to freeze my fresh water tank, but my sewer line was totally fine. It's basically a heating blanket, so there are a lot of potential uses from heating water supply lines to thawing out a frozen fresh tank.

Good quality at a great price. A really nice item to have on hand for winter camping. After 2 months of use it was easy to install and seems to hold up against the elements really well. It doesn't seem to hit the electric bill too hard either.
